Is my card information safe?

Yes. Card linking is handled entirely by Plaid, which is used by thousands of banks and financial apps. We never see or store your full card number. Plaid tokenizes your card and passes only transaction signals to us — the same way your bank app works.

Do I have to do anything special at the restaurant?

Nothing at all. Just pay with the card you linked to Protellier. The transaction is detected automatically through the card network. No coupon, no QR code, no conversation with the cashier.

What happens to my balance after my trip?

Your earnings don't expire. You can request a payout anytime after your stay once you've hit the minimum threshold. If you travel again, your existing balance carries over and you continue earning.
